Based on the Greenhouse Gas Protocol to reduce CO2 emissions, all of Polymer Chemie’s raw materials and losses, packaging, logistics from suppliers / to customers and the production process are included (scope 3, cradle to gate). We will reduce CO2-emissions of the internal processes within the company. We show our customers how the PVC-compound can be optimised regarding its CO2-equivalent and discuss with them concrete steps to reduce the CO2-footprint – for example use bio-based or recycled raw materials, change packaging, use other ways of transportation.
