Using blockchain to guarantee validity, the Plastiks platform is a marketplace for recyclers to mint and sell Non-Fungible Tokens so recyclers can monetise their recycling data. Producers of single-use plastic can increase traceability of their single-use packaging, demonstrating their commitment to the environment and their consumers through the offsetting of their waste. It also allows them to comply with the recently imposed EU single-use packaging tracking regulation to fight pollution.
