During the construction of an infrastructure project, Omniplast has built a floating artificial island made of 100% recyclable PVC pipes. The island, planted as a green natural belt to last a few years, measures 800 metres long and 10 metres wide, with Omniplast’s multilayer pipes of 250mm in diameter to create the buoyancy needed.
