Also called vertical gardening, UPC has created hydroponics installations by recycling used PVC piping, for instance from construction projects. It’s economical, easy to install, and integrates agriculture into an urban setting. The project shows the great potential for re-evaluating PVC as a part of a business model that respects the environment.
