EDENOL® 2178 and EDENOL® 2192 are 100 % biobased polymeric plasticisers that can be used both in PVC and bioplastics to boost performance and content of renewable carbon. The weight and thus the size of their molecules provides these plasticisers improved resistance to migration or exudation. In addition, by smart choice and combination of the polymeric building blocks, the plasticiser’s polarity and so its compatibility to the polymer can be tailored.
