RENOLIT CP film provides long-term corrosion protection for wind turbines as an alternative to conventional paint. It offers a new service concept with distinct cost and time benefits during maintenance and repair. Costs are cut, the efficiency of the wind turbine increases and downtime is minimised. The film also has a durability of 10 years. Therefore, the maintenance intervals for wind turbines are extended. In addition, RENOLIT CP is environmentally friendly: the film does not emit any volatile organic compounds (VOCs). We show how PVC can play a key role in the protection of wind turbines and enable more efficient operation as a result.
